||| ⚠️ Please note that even after you've pointed your domain, it still may take up to 24 hours to issue the SSL certificate (on our end), which is why there will be a period of waiting before your domain works.

||| Do not repeatedly change your domain settings, as this will only RESET the timeframe for getting your domain working.

If you're trying to add a top level domain, such as "yourdomain.com" you're in the right place.

How do I add a subdomain?

Accepted Answer

If you're trying to add a subdomain, which is a domain name in this format - kevin.yourdomain.com

(You'll be replacing "kevin" and "yourdomain.com" with your respective subdomain).

Then you're at the right place!

||| Please note that www won't work in front of your subdomain.

||| Also note that if you're trying to add a top-level domain (www.yourdomain.com instead of subdomain.yourdomain.com), then go here.

1. Add a CNAME record at your domain registrar (like Godaddy)

First find, the DNS management section of your registrar. Depending on which registrar you use, you might need to take some time to find this section.

Set a CNAME for the first part of your subdomain to point to us

This is what that looks like in a registrar like Godaddy (other registrars will have a similar-looking box).

^ Remember you replace "kevin" with whatever subdomain you're trying to add.

For example - let's say you wanted to create a subdomain like members.yourdomain.com

1) Create a Project

In Hyax, the first step for everyone is to create a project. You can think of each project as a distinct website. Each project is linked to a single domain, so if you plan to use multiple domains with Hyax, you will need to create multiple projects.

2) Onboarding

During the onboarding process, you’ll be prompted to answer a few basic questions to help set up your project:

* Your brand or site name

* Uploading a logo

* Indicating whether you have a domain to link to your Hyax project

* Selecting the apps you wish to use to enhance Hyax's functionality

* Choosing the design of your page, tailored to your intended use of Hyax

Navigate to "Your Apps" in the menu and enable Products. Once activated, you’ll find Products available in your menu at all times.

Fill in the details indicated (title, slug, description), upload the images, deliverables and downloads, and set up pricing

Add Testimonials and FAQs if Necessary

Testimonials: You can add these manually or collect ratings from your customers. After your course goes live, customers will be able to rate and provide testimonials.

To set up Subscription plan

Enable Subscriptions

Navigate to "Your Apps" in the menu and enable Subscriptions. Once activated, you’ll find Subscriptions available in your menu at all times.

Select Create new plan on the top right

Fill in the details indicated (title & description) and choose the plan settings (unlock type for posts and pricing / member terms)

Unlock Only New Posts and Last 30 Days of Content: If you prefer to unlock only future content, the last 30 days of content must also be unlocked. This ensures subscribers don’t start with an empty subscription, avoiding a negative experience.
